Schneider Electric brushless DC drive systems are an affordable tool for various motion tasks.
The systems have compact, yet high-performance motors and matching drives. They provide a variety of options for appliances and industrial automation.
The motors provide two size options.
BDM 4- with 42 mm flange dimensions is available in two lengths. It offers nominal power ranging from 56 to 95 W and nominal torque in the range of 0.13 to 0.22 Nm.
BDM 7- with 66 mm flange dimension has four lengths. It provides nominal power in the range of 120 to 370 W and nominal torque from 0.24 to 0.8 Nm. Encoders can be added to the BDM 7- for applications demanding high-accuracy position detection.
The motors also provide the options of planetary or spur wheel gear and holding brake.

Constituent components are supplied as separate spare parts that can be assembled to achieve an excellent mechanical structure of the machine.
HKW servo motors efficiently deliver a maximum speed at constant power and generate a high torque at slow speeds through the field-weakening technique. They can deliver high performance with precision and greater rigidity. With the advanced permanent magnets technology, heating in the bearings has been reduced to a greater extent as compared to induction motors, without any dilatation effect.
