Kollmorgen offers the most versatile and modular line of positioning tables in our DS Series tables. The DS Series is an optimized electromechanical solution suitable for demanding high precision positioning applications. The unique IDEAL-SEAL system (magnetic cover strip locking device) protects the entire length of the screw and linear bearing system, providing both operator safety and contaminant protection. These tables are also available in a variety of multi-axis configurations including XY, XZ, and XYZ or cartesian arrangements.

This platform due to basic physics can out perform Hexapod systems with Nano Precision ™ while increasing the work envelope and significantly increasing the stiffness of the structure making this platform ideal for nano machining and thermal bonding applications where reactive forces are common. The ALIO product family of Linear Servo Tripods can be packaged from 3 axes to more than 6 axes while still maintaining the ALIO forward and inverse kinematic equations.
