This is further aided by the presence of two independent spindles, which enables machining of work-piece from both sides or simultaneous machining of two identical/non-identical work-pieces. Designed using state-of-the-art 3D design modules and fine-tuned using load-simulation and deformation studies employing the latest software packages, SPEEDtec can control the positioning and indexing of tool and work-piece with finesse. The automatic tool change function accomplishes tool change within 6 s and equally merited is the automatic pallet change. This ingenious control drastically reduces the machining time by up to 50%.
