For high-speed machining of simple to complex and heavy-duty (up to 4000 kg) work-pieces made of iron, steel, and other non-ferrous metals, TOS VARNSDORF offers SPEEDtec. Fitted with advanced machining techniques and tools, it can handle strenuous and continuous production. This is further aided by the presence of two independent spindles, which enables machining of work-piece from both sides or simultaneous machining of two identical/non-identical work-pieces. Designed using state-of-the-art 3D design modules and fine-tuned using load-simulation and deformation studies employing the latest software packages, SPEEDtec can control the positioning and indexing of tool and work-piece with finesse. The automatic tool change function accomplishes tool change within 6 s and equally merited is the automatic pallet change. This ingenious control drastically reduces the machining time by up to 50%. To top it all, the enclosure ensures complete safety of the work-piece.
