The Balconi Servopress replaces the mechanical components of the driving system with one or more high torque servomotors. This includes the flywheel, the clutch unit, and the main motor.
Since the driving system of the servopress is streamlined, machine flexibility is enhanced. Servo motors of the machine generate the press force, while the ram curve and speed are set by the motors' speed.
With this setup, an unlimited number of variable and programmable stroke lengths of the ram can be achieved. As the ram curve and the slow-motion speed can be configured, the most efficient curve, stroke length, and production speed can be adapted.
