The Cla-Val Series PV10 is a pinch valve with an open body. It controls the flow of abrasive and corrosive slurries, liquids and solids manually. This valve has no sliding or rubbing metal surfaces to wear out, but it is operated by turning the hand wheel counter-clockwise to open and clockwise to close. It can function easily with a high pressure.
The PV10 uses pure gum rubber with a polyester fabric for a powerful and long useful life. It has guide rods made out of stainless steel. This device features a clearly visible valve position, with a body made out of rugged carbon. The stem and bearing pad included in this pinch valve are lubricated. It operates with reliable service due to its double wall sleeves.

Baumann 85000 sanitary pinch valves are intended for use with up to 3/4 inch O.D. pharmaceutical grade tubing. They are designed to couple FIELDVUE™ digital valve controller intelligence with a linear actuator and tube shell.
The 85000 is designed for use in both biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, where cleanliness and sterility are required. The primary use is for disposable skid-based processes, replacing traditional manually operated valves. Automated valves offer consistent quality, better record keeping, and improved batch control.
Lab testing resulted in a max capacity of 6.5 Cv achieved with standard pharmaceutical grade tubing.
