Hydraulic accumulator - 1/8", 5 000 psi

SPX accumulators have been developed for storing small supply of pressurized oil. They are suitable for palletized workholding systems or other such systems with temporary disconnection of supply pressure. The nitrogen-charged accumulators are piston-type and thus can be fixed in any orientation.

Compared to other accumulators within its class, these accumulators have the broadest operating range at any single charge pressure. Based on the application, they are suitable for use at all pressures in the range of 0 to 5,000 psi. Factory setting of charge pressure is 1,500 psi, which is increasable up to 2,000 psi. As a general rule, more total oil is provided by a lower charge pressure, but a higher charge pressure provides more usable oil at any permissible pressure drop. Customers should refer to the performance charts for finding out the best charge pressure for different applications.
