The IM6 swithces are made up of epoxy resin housing filled with SF6, and it is fit for seal for life operation and it complies with IEC 60265-1 standard. The moving contacts are altered on the protected turning shaft inside the cast tar body, while the settled contacts are mounted specifically on the cast sap body. The turning movement of the pole is made by a working component set on the front and the switch has three separate positions, the closed, open and earthed which characteristically keep any wrong operations.

The IM6 is an on-load switch manufactured by Sarel. It is encased in a housing made with epoxy resin. The housing of this device is constructed as protection for operation.

An operating mechanism is provided on the front of the switch that enables the rotary movement of the shaft.

This comes in three different positions that prevent wrong operations. It can be open, closed, or earthed.

The IM6-PM are on-load switches installed outdoors and are suitable to be used on overhead lines. It is available in manual or motorized. Theses switches are enclosed in SF6 gas-filled stainless steel tanks. Installed inside the stainless steel tank is the 3-phase switch which has a close and open function. A mechanical spring operating mechanism rotates the shaft.

A safety valve is features in the metal casing of the stainless steel which guarantees product's saftey in case of failure due to container's overpressure. A proper manometer mounted in the operating mechanism which can be seen from the outside continuously monitor the pressure of the device. This product is manufactured to connect overhead lines and is suitable for modern telecommunication networks.

The Southern States CSH and CSH-B horizontal interrupter circuit switchers are ideally suited for transformer protection providing up to 40kA primary fault clearing capabiltiy and 4kA secondary through fault clearing capability. All circuit making and breaking operations are accomplished in SF6, eliminating open air arcs. The horizontal interrupter circuit switcher is available with (Model CSH-B) or without (Model CSH) an integral vertical break switch.

The design of the CSH and CSH-B is extremely versatile and can be mounted in most any orientation including horizontal upright, vertical, and underhung positions. It can also be designed to mount on a Southern States supplied support structure or for mounting on a customer supplied or existing structure. The CSH-B is also ideal for mobile applications and can be supplied with composite interrupters that can be shipped pressurized.

In addition to transformer protection, the CSH and CSH-B can be used for line dropping, loop splitting, or as a series capacitor/reactor bypass switch.

Southern States LSH and LSH-B horizontal interrupter line switchers provide load breaking, loop splitting, and line dropping capabilities for your most critical line switching applications. Additional applications include transformer magnetizing current interrupting and cable switching. All circuit making and breaking operations are accomplished in SF6, eliminating open air arcs. The horizontal interrupter line switcher is available with (Model LSH-B) or without (Model LSH) an integral vertical break switch. Both models can be supplied with either a manual operator or motor operator.

The LSH and the LSH-B are also well suited for such special purpose applications as series reactor or capacitor bypass switching.

Southern States' product line includes the broadest range of ground switch offerings of any supplier in the world. These ground switches can be furnished for single pole or group operated applications to provide grounding for inspection, maintenance, repair, or replacement of other substation equipment such as capacitor banks, circuit breakers, circuit switchers, etc. They are available as stand-alone devices (A common application of this is capacitor bank grounding.) or as attachments to disconnect switches, circuit switchers, and other devices. Their operation can be via manual swing handle operator, manual gear operator, electric motor operator, or manually via a hookstick; all as indicated in the attached chart. This chart also indicates the available types by kV class, momentary current rating, and live part construction as well as providing information on their means of contact engagement and their current transfer method on the hinge end. Additionally, since interlocking is commonly performed on ground switches for personnel safety, information on the selection of the correct interlock for your specific application is provided in another document attached below.
