The GE's 1 MW brilliance solar inverters represent the latest model in renewable energy electronics. They offer superior grid performance, while still being flexible for use in various multi-megawatt projects. The 700 kilowatt (kW) Brilliance Solar Inverter is GE Energy's latest evolution in renewable energy power electronics. Having been designed with the heritage of GE's proven controls expertise and built on GE's leadership in the renewable energy industry, the Brilliance Solar Inverter is able to provide the operational flexibility and superior grid performance required for available and reliable solar electric power in multi-megawatt projects. Enabled with grid-friendly features which offer power generation similar to that of a conventional power plant, the Brilliance Solar Inverters are backed by GE's strength.
A standard 480 vac output voltage is provided by the 700 kW inverter's two-stage power conversion. This eliminates the need for an intermediate transformer and results in higher conversion efficiency. The Brilliance Solar Inverter can perform in extreme environmental conditions and is equipped with a robust outdoor-rated enclosure. It is CSA and UL certified.
