Look at what's exciting with the New DV-I Prime Viscometer has a NEW look, feel, and features that are brand new! This product was introduced in Middleboro, MA by the Brookfield Engineering. Improvements have been added to the keypad, color scheme, and shape. It also offers a "timed option" that is new and on the easy to use keypad there are print buttons. The RS-232 PC interface is now included on the DV-I Prime and it can be used in conjunction with Wingather Software. The user can collect, analyze, and record the data with this software with in the application or the data can be exported directly to Excel. The operator is able to send data directly to the printer or file with the new output connections.

The WROR - III is a fully-automatic rheometer, manufactured by DR. COLLIN. With the WROR (Wide Range Online Rheometer), it is possible to measure online several points of the viscosity curve. A side stream is branched of the main polymer stream, feeding the WROR. The throughput of this side stream is controlled by the revolution of a melt pump. A newly designed melt-switch allows a sequential feeding with melt of 3 different channels leading to 3 different capillaries. The pressure differences are registered and allow to assess the rheological data of polymer-melt at varying shear rates.

This product has the ability to identify the viscosity function of a polymer melt over an expanded range of shear rates. The melt flows by three capillaries continuously to decrease the effort in operating the measurement.
