Rheometer fully-automatic - WROR - III
The WROR - III is a fully-automatic rheometer, manufactured by DR. COLLIN. With the WROR (Wide Range Online Rheometer), it is possible to measure online several points of the viscosity curve. A side stream is branched of the main polymer stream, feeding the WROR. The throughput of this side stream is controlled by the revolution of a melt pump. A newly designed melt-switch allows a sequential feeding with melt of 3 different channels leading to 3 different capillaries. The pressure differences are registered and allow to assess the rheological data of polymer-melt at varying shear rates.This product has the ability to identify the viscosity function of a polymer melt over an expanded range of shear rates. The melt flows by three capillaries continuously to decrease the effort in operating the measurement.
