Model EAG also features our unique, ultra-low profile, axial Quick Attach System. This attachment system is designed to provide easy attachment while not unduly influencing the extensometer's output. The wire forms on our system are designed to transmit the attachment force axially through the extensometer. The system includes round and flat wire forms for both round and flat specimens. If you prefer to attach the extensometer with springs or rubber bands, spring mounts are provided with the unit. Model EAG-0200-0100-x - General Pourpose Axial Extensometer

All model EAG extensometers feature a full, 350 ohm, strain gauge bridge design and are compatible with most any brand test equipment. We can install the proper connector to interface to most any electronics including Instron. If your test frame or set-up does not have the required strain signal conditioner, we can supply stand-alone electronics calibrated with your extensometer. This will allow you to use a chart recorder, digital display, or data acquisition card.

All standard models meet ASTM B-1 and ISO 9513, class 0,5 accuracy requirements. Each extensometer comes with an inspection certificate traceable to NIST, a spare parts kit, a spare set of tool-steel knife edges, and a quality, foam lined, plastic case.

Our model EAGM miniature axial extensometer is designed around our new miniature cross-flexure module. This extensometer is designed for improved performance, ruggedness, and ease of use as well as a secure cable attachment system (cable failures are the leading cause of sensor failure).
Model EAM2 - Miniature Axial Extensometer

Small, light, and rugged, our ultra-light weight, miniature axial extensometers are typically used for testing small or delicate specimens. These units work equally well on thin sheet, wire, or biomedical materials. Our miniature axial extensometer is designed to fit in the tight space between grips when testing small specimens. Typical models measure only 0.6 inches [15 mm] tall, they weigh as little as 7 grams, and they have very low operating force to limit any influence on small samples. Extensometer for rock, concrete, and asphalt - 0.500 - 1000" | EAA

For axial tensile, compression, and cyclic testing where an averaged output is desired.

Our model EAA - averaging axial extensometer is built around our new, monocoque module design. This innovative design provides a very stiff module body which results in improved performance and ruggedness over existing units. To keep our extensometers as light as possible, even the module cover is used as an integral stressed member. As an added bonus, our design in more compact and will more easily fit into the tight space of your environmental chamber. It is also lighter to reduce the influence of the extensometer's weight on the specimen under test.

All model EAA extensometers feature a full, strain gauge bridge design and are compatible with most any brand test equipment. This model can be configured for a single, averaged axial strain signal or for two independent axial strain signals. We can install the proper connectors to interface to most any electronics including Instron, ADMET, and MTS. If your test frame or set-up does not have the required strain signal conditioner, we can supply stand-alone electronics calibrated with your extensometer. This will allow you to use a chart recorder, digital display, or data acquisition card. Model EAA - Averaging Axial Extensometer
