The device is equipped with MSA's sophisticated XCell sensing elements that now feature the ability to detect SO2, NH3 and Cl2 gases as well. These sensors bring to the board brilliant solidity, repeatability, outstanding exactitude, long-lasting durability and ultra-quick response times. Standardized sensors provide a long service life of more than four years for detection of most gases and upwards of three years for SO2, NH3 and Cl2 gases.

Response and clearing times are extremely fast as is the efficient bump test which provides results in less than 10 seconds. Span calibration is swiftly conducted within a minute's time for typical compositions. The swift response system is courtesy the state-of-the-art micro-electronics embedded in the sensor.

The sensor provides easy plug-and-play operations. Its signal steadiness and high repeatability are immune to vagaries of weather or harsh climatic situations.
