The IR gas transmitter uses NDIR technology measures methane or carbon dioxide in non ex-proof applications. No gases can cause cross-interference, as the infrared gas detection is entirely selective. This means that false alarms are minimized. Permanent accuracy is guaranteed with the IR24 electronic products, even when there is exposure to temperature variations. The sensor, which has a proven lifetime of more than five years, is securely protected in a sturdy IP-54 housing against potential water splashing. GFG transmitters come pre-calibrated, and are capable of fast adjustment with measuring points and potentiometers. Sensitivity and zero point adjustment can be calibrated by a single user. The advantages of the transmitter allow for a low cost of ownership. The readings are not only reliable, they are stable and reproducible.

Highly selective plug-in type electrochemical sensors are used in EC24. These type of sensors reduces the false alarms to activate. The safe transmission of the signal to the control unit to be measured is given by the integrated electronics. The calibration can be individually done by one person at the device which is enabled by the positioning of the potentiometers and the measuring contacts behind a service flap. The gases which can be measured are Oxygen from 0-25 % in volume and others like H2S, H2, NH3,HCI,SO2, CO, HCN, O3,NO2, and NO are measured in PPM.

CDT series air quality transmitters are designed to be used as building automation systems in the industry of HVAC/R. The device measures carbon dioxide using temperature, self calibration ABC logic™ and NDIE measurement principle. It can also be used for measuring relative humidity using special instruments.

These transmitters are easy to use as these come with a large touchscreen display. It is also easy to configure the device. The instrument has a separate field configurable output for each measuring parameters such carbon dioxide and relative humidity and temperature. Its proportional output options are voltage (0–10 V, 2–10 V) and current (4–20 mA). It can also be designed for relay output.
