The HLX82 is a measuring instrument that is being utilized for green houses or for life stock barns and are exposed to an environment with high humidity levels, pollutants like fertilizers, herbicides, and high ammonia concentrations. The robust as well as the functional housing of the HLX82 which is equipped with an integrated special filter that has been designed for various applications. The air coming from the filter diffuses into the instrument enclosure. The diffused air are filtered through an integrated CO2 measuring cell. The measurement is based on the non-dispersed infrared (NDIR) technology. The device also has a patented auto-calibration procedure for aging of the infrared source and assures a highly-reliable, long-term stability, and an eliminated needs for re-calibration.
