The DICTATOR interlock control system stands out due to its extremely simple programming. The relations between the different doors of the interlock system are adjusted by simple DIP switches in the control terminals - without needing any computer.
All intrasystem cable connections are pluggable, most use the RJ45 connectors. The marking with different colours makes wrong connections nearly impossible. Also the power pack for the 24 VDC supply of the whole system is completely pluggable. The cable with a safety plug simply has to be plugged in a 230 VAC isolated ground receptacle.
A simple interlock control system can easily be mounted without specialists.
On the other hand, thanks to its modular structure, also very complex requirements are no problem for the DICTATOR interlock control system. It is possible to realise time controls, pressure control, discretion circuits, the control of door operators, of ventilation or heating systems etc. as well as to integrate emergency exit doors, release doors by access controls or to connect the system to complex facility mangements systems.

There is also available an ex-proof version of the DICTATOR interlock control system. Same as with the interlock control system for non ex-proof areas the relations between the doors are adjusted by simple DIP switches. The ex-proof interlock control system consists of a central casing which includes one circuit board per door (at most 5 doors in the hazardous area). On these circuit boards there are placed the DIP switches for the "programming" of the door relations.
On the doors there are fitted elegant, unobtrusive terminals.
It is also possible to include doors outside the hazardous area in the ex-proof DICTATOR interlock control system.
In case there is no possibility to mount the central casing outside the hazardous area, there is available a model with a pressure-capsulated central which can be installed in the hazardous area.
The doors are locked by the ex-proof DICTATOR electromagnet EM GD 70 EX with a separate feedback contact. The electromagnet has a holding force of 1450 N. If necessary, there can be combined several magnets.
