There is also available an ex-proof version of the DICTATOR interlock control system. Same as with the interlock control system for non ex-proof areas the relations between the doors are adjusted by simple DIP switches. The ex-proof interlock control system consists of a central casing which includes one circuit board per door (at most 5 doors in the hazardous area). On these circuit boards there are placed the DIP switches for the "programming" of the door relations.On the doors there are fitted elegant, unobtrusive terminals.
It is also possible to include doors outside the hazardous area in the ex-proof DICTATOR interlock control system.
In case there is no possibility to mount the central casing outside the hazardous area, there is available a model with a pressure-capsulated central which can be installed in the hazardous area.
The doors are locked by the ex-proof DICTATOR electromagnet EM GD 70 EX with a separate feedback contact. The electromagnet has a holding force of 1450 N. If necessary, there can be combined several magnets.
