Make light work of a heavy steering challenge. On larger agricultural and construction vehicles, our dual displacement steering units secure high-level safety.

The two gear wheel sets of this steering unit work simultaneously under normal operating conditions. But, should a pump fail, the ability to steer with just one gear wheel means even the heaviest vehicles can be steered manually.


OSPU is offered with linear or progressive amplification, where the metered-out flow is proportional to steering speed, from 0 rpm to the maximum steering speed possible.

The unique spool/sleeve set of OSPU with normal pump supply meters flow in parallel of and through the gear wheel set. Flow-amplifying capability is up to 4:1, however, should the pump supply fail, the metered-out flow only comes from the gear wheel set. Due to this unique concept the unit delivers best-in-class manual steering performance.

Our design engineers integrated our OSP steering technology with our EH valve. Now your vehicle can benefit from the outcome the OSPE, representing a new generation of electrohydraulic steering products characterized by numerous safety features and a great steering feel.

The OSPE is compatible with the PVE actuator technology that we use alongside our successful PVG 32 valves. Direct electric interfacing is possible with GPS, row or laser auto-steering systems or with a joystick or steering wheel.
