Right angle tables G.TO feature a very limited height in order to improve their compactness.
Top and bottom faces are ground, as well as the slide "T" slots.
Screws have a trapezoidal section thread, and are held by adjustable double effect thrust bearings.
Both screws are fitted with independent locking devices as well as setting wheels with graduations for a 0.1 mm (0.04") linear movement.
They can be installed in any position (horizontal, vertical, at an angle).

The cross-tables in the GT series are consistently geared to highest precision standards enhanced by pronounced rigidity. The comparator-adapted arrangement of the high-resolution measuring systems and the prestressed, backlash-free ballscrews between the junction roller guides combine to reduce positioning errors to a minimum. The extra rigid monolithic construction ensures outstanding reproducibility. On account of this compact design, which rules out risks of crushing while facilitating cable layout towards one side, the tables in the GT series are particularly suitable for open systems imposing exacting demands on operational and positioning accuracy.

The 'long travel' version of the popular micrometer course positioning stages developed for high resolution Nano-positioners by Mad City Labs is the Manual MicroStage-LT. Although a longer XY travel (up to 50mm) and an aperture allowing rotation of the nose-piece sets it apart from the standard version in design, the internal position locking with excellent stability like the standard model however, makes it an ideal base for high resolution Nano-positioning stages. Its dimensions are accurate enough for mounting the top of the stage remaining within the microscope's focal range. The usage of Nano-positioning stages with re-entrant sample holders on top of this can be possible even while changing objective lenses. It can not only be mounted on Mad City Labs RM21™ Microscope Platform but other popular inverted research microscopes too.

With integrated position locking that can be used with all standard inverted optical microscopes, the Manual Microstage is a high precision and low profile XY stage that can be customized according to mounting requirements. It is specifically designed as a course positioning base for high resolution Nano-positioners providing 25mm travel combined with micrometers with 1μm vernier graduations for accurate adjustments on each axis. The integrated pre-load force of 10N built in each axis locks the stage securely in position by resisting the force produced by a Nano-positioner that is mounted on top of it which otherwise would often drift out of position because of the acceleration produced through movement during scanning and eliminating the drift becomes critical for proper sample imaging and raster scan alignment.

The Manual MicroStage-BX is made from anodized aluminum and features a specialized mounting arrangement. The mounting arrangement is ideal for the Olympus BX Series microscopes. It is not necessary to use extra hardware or brackets.
