TUR MN is a manual/CNC combination lathe. Equipped with the latest Siemens SINUMERIK 840 D SL control system and AC drives the TUR MN is a production unit for manufacturing high-precision and complicated parts made as one-offs or in small batches.

Double walled bed

The bed with two guide ways of box-type design is made from high-grade pearlite cast iron. Double-V guide ways, along with the inner V-way for tailstock, are induction hardened and ground. The heavy-ribbed bed is double walled. In that way we substantially minimize vibration and improve finishes.

Modern headstock design

The headstock is of a modern compact design. The heavy duty spindle is supported in the front with one double-direction angular contact thrust ball bearing and one double-direction angular contact thrust ball bearing on the back side. This system allows using big spindle bores while keeping high precision, rigidity for heavy loads, high turning speed and superior surface finish.

The main spindle is powered by a Siemens AC variable speed 18,5 kW motor (S6). The power is transmitted to the spindle by means of multi-V power belt. To ensure a high turning torque at low rpm, the machine is equipped with a 2-speed planetary gearbox. The gear change is automatic.

TUR 560/630/710MN is a high precision, high quality European product manufactured in Poland. The parts we use in our products only come from world leaders in machine tool parts and suppliers. Headstock

The heavy duty headstock is actually located on the two Vs of the induction hardened and ground bed surface, hand scraped to ensure correct alignment and the best possible fit. Made of a one piece housing the TUR560MN and TUR630MN are equipped with strong, high precision spindle bearings that guarantee perfect stability and accuracy when machining. A 140mm diameter spindle bore and double spindle nose is standard on the A -models.

TUR SC (560, 630, 710, 800, 930, 1100) is together a conventional and a CNC high-precision lathe. Equipped with Siemens SINUMERIK 802D SL control system and servo motors it became a production unit for manufacturing the high-precision, complicated parts made as one-offs or in small batches.

The great advantage to the user of this lathe is the possibility of employing the highly developed techniques without any special knowledge of programming. Reduced machining times, the highest and uniform precision of all parts in the batch as well as taking away from the operator his routine work demonstrate the new level of production efficiency.

Operating in the conventional manner

The TUR SC lathe is equipped with control elements traditionally used on modern manual centre lathe, such as hand wheels and the digital readout system. Therefore the machine offers to its operator the possibility to operate it in the conventional manner.
