The Basic 180 V is a loathe machine with a Vconst constant cutting speed. It features a position indicator with a speed display. The loathe operates with a speed that can go up to 3000 min^-1. The machine is also built with a variable spindle speed on 2 gear levels. Its main motor has a 4 kW rating.

Designed with a cast-iron bed that is heavily ribbed, the machine has a three-axis position indicator which is fully assembled. This three-axis position indicator has an enhanced accuracy and a lower rate error which results in an increased productivity. The indicator is made with a keyboard layout and a calculator function. It can be run by operator-specific configurations.

The machine is designed to deliver high performances at minimal prices. The ingeniously engineered structure consists of a huge, single-piece, cast iron frame combined with a solid, ribbed, machine bed. Equipped with a vast spectrum of adjustable speeds and excellent consistency in cutting performances, the machine provides ultimate user satisfaction in all kinds of cutting needs.

The machine is outfitted with a display which indicates the position of the three axes and spindle speeds digitally. Its guideways are broad, rigid and incorporate ground surfaces. This imparts long-lasting durability and excellent turning ability. The spindle bearings are generously dimensioned, while the headstock provides exceptional exactitude, both contributing to provide superlative concentricity.

The shaft and headstock gears display high rigidity and efficient grounding that ensures a noise-free performance and unwavering speeds of operation. The headstock is equipped with a 5.5 kW motor to provide high potency machining performances. The speed of the spindle can be adjusted across unlimited variations in the range of 30 to 550 or 50 to 3000 rpm. The machine provides a turret stop feature and a micrometer.

The unit is centrally lubricated which lowers maintenance needs and costs exponentially. The digital display allows easy programming of auxiliary functions besides indicating axes positions and spindle speeds.
