Freezing chuck for turning applications - GFR-20-IOL

Using GFR-20-IOL icing plate for lathing perfect rounded blanks is no longer a necessity as any collet is avoided. Thinner blank can be used, leading to a material saving with a deep core freezing and easy repositioning for the next step.

Freezing mandrels GFR-20-IOL are interchangeable in order to fit various manufacturing steps. Generally the mandrel used for the first side is flat to fit the blank surface, while mandrels for the second side are machined with a mirror image of the lens profile

Metalworking vacuum table - TRIAG mivaClamp

Work Piece is Gently and Evenly Pulled Down
In vacuum clamping, the clamping force is not applied to the work piece mechanically, but is provided by the surrounding atmosphere. This means that the work piece is gently and evenly pulled down over the whole supporting surface.

Consequently, there is little chance for vibration. As there are no obstructing brackets, clamps or workholding nodules in the working and the loading area, there are fewer chances of collisions with the tool.

This clamping method is particularly suitable for workpieces with a large surface area, even non-metallic. If there are lateral forces the use of stop bars is recommended.

Vacuum clamping system - TRIAG triGEL

This unusual method of workholding is suitable for irregular, fragile parts that are very difficult to grasp. This technique was originally used in the watch making and jewelry industries, but is now being used more widely.

Ice clamping devices use a cooling medium as it is commonly applied to a deep freezer. The latent heat of evaporation of the cooling medium contained in a closed coolant circuit is used. The cold gas passes through a labyrinth of channels in the machine table bringing its temperature to about -8C. Both the machine and the workpieces are covered with a fine film of water using a water atomizer. This causes the workpiece to stick to the machine table within approximately 15-60 seconds.

The process is reversed to release the workpieces. The device then operates rather like a heat pump, so that the dew point is reached again very quickly, and the workpieces are released.

Vacuum chuck - KVR

[Application]
Chucks to hold workpieces by utilizing atmospheric vacuum pressure. Nonmetallic and nonmagnetic materials can be held and machined. These chucks are suitable for grinding and cutting plastics and grinding aluminum, brass, stainless steel, ceramic and glass.
[Features]
The suction holes on the chuck work face can be arranged to set an effective holding area according to shapes of workpieces by combined adjustment of thread valves and valves.
The suction holes have cross grooves to expand the acting area. Thus, few thread valves are used to improve work efficiency.
The chuck work face is made of iron to allow self grinding to recover parallelism.
Since the chuck work face is made of iron, magnetic devices can be utilized as workpiece stoppers.
A special suction hole layout adapter can be installed according to workpieces and work procedures.
These chucks can be mounted on magnetic chucks.
Since no heat source or moving parts are used inside the chucks, high precision machining is ensured.

Vacuum chuck - KVR-AV

Application]
For grinding. For aluminum, stainless, brass, plastic, ceramic, glass, etc..
[Features]
This chuck does not need masking process, which can reduce time for parts changing.
Even the parts which have holes, can be fastened by this chuck, thanks to Auto Valve system.
It is easy to clean the Auto Valve which is placed in each hole on the chuck face.
If parts move while grinding process, it can remain same position because of the Auto Valve system.
Not only wet but also dry grinding is acceptable.

Vacuum chuck - KVR-GV series

[Application]
Suitable for milling work pieces of non magnetic material such as aluminum alloy, copper alloy, stainless, plastic.
[Features]
Compared with conventional elector type vacuum generating unit, air consumption can be greatly reduced.
It can be used only after one touch joint pipe tube is connected to compressor in the factory.
As vacuum generator is not necessary, its response is excellent and attraction as well as release can be done at once.
By removing a cop on chuck fi xing face, its inside parts can be easily changed.
Its material can be selected mild steel or aluminum alloy.
