The ElevatorEX II is a protection system for drag conveyors, bucket elevators and transportation systems. It is distinguished by a combination of proven features, including vent panels on the booth and head, infrared detectors and an extinguishing barrier to prevent flame-fronts from propagating in the chutes and elevator legs. These critical features provide maintenance-free relief.
With maximum protection from potential dust explosion consequences, plant downtime is kept at a minimum. Benefits include inexpensive investment, easy retrofitting, high elevator use and certification. This is the only protection system for conveyor applications that is globally certified with FSA 10 ATEX-1607 X. The ElevatorEX II is also approved according to VDI 2263 parts 8.01 and 8.1 and technical report.
