Extraction arm - Fume Tracker®
The fume Tracker™ Capture Arm better protects operators through the automatic detection of a welding arc and instantly repositioning which is able to capture fumes at their source. The greatly improves the productivity.User can configure the fume tracker as a stand alone extraction arm, it is mounted to the popular FRED JR-T or FRED 011-T portable fume extractors. The operator will be able to eliminate the time that is spent in the repositioning of the hood and to sped more time on the necessary task. The tracking arm excels in spots weld and non-stop welding applications, where the hood is able to reposition itself without interference of the welding jig or work piece. The fume Tracker™ will only follow the welding arc if the light source remains with the 40 inch tracking window that is under the hood. If the welder moves from the detection zone, the arm can safely and easily be repositioned back into the tracking window as all gears come outfitted with a slip clutch.

The FRED 02C system, manufactured by Fume Extractor, is a portable welding fume extractor that is built for long duty cycles. This device is characterized as a self-cleaning unit, wherein it excludes the dusts, smokes, and any other unbreathables coming from the air. It is equipped with a 2,400 CFM blower that assures the high face-velocity that has a movable capture arm.
