The W1 Connector launcher line includes both male and female W1 connectors, designed with an air dielectric interface that is similar to K and V connectors.


The center conductor is manufactuerd with a glass bead on one end and Anritsu's proprietary low-loss high-temperature support bead on the other end.

The center conductor of the glass bead allows the user to directly overlap the pin connection to the Microwave Circuit, as it extends out of the backside of the connector backside, which is threaded to allow the W1 Connector to be screwed onto the housing wall.

The Anritsu's proprietary low-loss high-temperature plastic bead then allows the user to solder the connector into the housing to accomplish a hermetic connection.

The center conductor is manufacutred with a Teflon bead on one end and an Anritsus Proprietary low-loss Plastic Bead on the other end to provide superior concentricity and rigidity for the pin on the backside.

The center conductor allows the user to achieve a direct-pin overlap connection onto the Microwave Circuit as it extends outside of the connector's backside, which is threaded to allow the W1 Connector to be screwed onto the housing wall.
