The MLX90316 Non-contact rotary sensor IC offers simple implementation of 360 degree position indicators. Its applications are found in pedal position drive, Throttle position sensing and shaft position, ride height and up to 360 degree rotary applications. It is completely programmed to allow the user to set an angular range that still has rail for chosen angular displacement. It also offers diagnostic options which is available in redundant versions for safety critical applications.
