The RSM2800 Rotary Sensor, manufactured by Novotechnik, features the combination of the ability to measure angles across multiple turns with the durability and cost-efficiency of multiple turn wire-wound potentiometers. Through the combination of a single-turn angle detection with a separate turn detection, this rotary sensors is capable of measuring angles across multiple turns, thus enabling higher resolution as well as accuracy.
