The Photonis time of flight detectors offer enhanced levels of temporal resolution, dynamic range, and high mass detection sensitivity for TOF mass spectometry. The 2-micron pore MCP provides the highest channel density of any MCP, and it also supplies gains in excess of 5x106.

These time of flight detectors are compatible with a variety of applications, such as ultra-fast, high temperature, bipolar, off-axis, and co-axial TOF detection. Improved parameters, such as the device's sensitivity, stability, and dynamic range, are achieved through a research and development program and knowledge in microchannel plate technology.
