The micro flow cells being offered by Avantes feature a Z-design which is easily coupled to 1.5 mm PTFE tubing with 0.5 mm inner diameter. These cells are used for in-line measurements of low liquid volumes. They are usually used for absorption measurements and HPLC applications. For coupling with the micro flow cells two special fiber-optic cables (FC part number terminating in FIA) are required. These special fiber optic cables are needed as they act as the window for the flow cells.
