The RTU FWL is a Modular Telecontrol Substation applied in telecontrol substations with small and medium size. Various FWL substitutes are available based on the needed set-up that concerns interfaces, modems and I/O-modules. The FWL enters the telecontrol systems powerfully and gainfully. It has an outstanding cost and performance ratio, gives various options for one-on-one and versatile solutions.
Available in FWL154. FWL155, FWL156. FWL157, FWL054, FWL055, FWL056, FWL057 and FWL058. The FWL157 gives integrated MPI-interface and GSM-/GPRS-modem. FWLs are compact and can expand modulars up to 6 I/O-modules. It can be easily mounted on DIN rail, with battery buffered real-time clock and PLC functionality options and data link to customary PLCs through different interfaces options.

Configuration
Each SPRECON-E-T3 device consists of a CPU module and certain I/O modules, which are connected via an internal bus as well as via a power supply module. A control panel can be optionally connected to the RTUs.
By combination of different I/O modules, the devices can be individually assembled in order to meet particular requirements. All functions can be individually configured whereby system functions and project settings are kept separate.
Configuration is accomplished with the SPRECON-E Designer (parametrisation tool).
