The TAG (Turbo and Active Gauge) controller is a low cost pumping system often used for various vacuum applications. The voltage is 24V. The design is small and compact and can be used in combination with all Edwards DX and nEXT turbopumps. It does not have its own power source, and needs an optional energy supply. It can be used for backing pump control, as a vent valve controller or it can control an Edwards active gauge or air cooler.
It contains a user-friendly interface, with LED display. The display shows vacuum pressure or pump speed.

The TIC turbo series offers a compact turbo controller featuring an intuitive user interface and serial communications that provides the user with full remote control. Data logging functions are accomplished with a new Windows based PC program and made visible on the clear, large graphical display.
TIC turbo controller can control up to 3 active gauges, directly provides support for cooling and vent valves, and can automatically recognize and provide support for one 24 V turbomolecular pump from the range of EXT/nEXT.
The use of an optional relay box is required to control the mains backing pumps (up to XDS10/RV12).
The controller is available in your choic of 2 different power variants, 100W or 200W, which will determine the turbo pump's ramp speed of the turbo pump.
The 200W versions are capable of powering a 24Vdc backing pump, such as the XDD1.
