Modulator - M6100 series
Ericsson's Newtec M6100 Family is a broadcast satellite modulator made for contribution, distribution and direct-to-home operations. S2 Extensions are supported by this modulator, which results in barrier-breaking efficiency. The M6100 can be upgraded to the upcoming DVB-S2 extensions that allow broadcasters and operators to enhance their satellite links. The modulator also includes a carrier ID technology that enables the operator to manage the satellite transmissions well, and identify transmissions that accidentally get linked on the wrong frequency. M6100 offers ASI and IP transport stream input capabilities. Together with a full remote control feature, the M6100 can easily integrate to any network.
