Lever-operated latch - max. 445 N (100 lbs), IP66, NEMA 4 | C5 series
The C5 Sealed Lever Latches have a streamlined design and easy operation that makes it a suitable latch for installations that are very visible so they require a sealed and safe fit. The door is pulled tightly shut with a compressive action that eliminates any rubbing or wearing on the frame or pawl. The handle conveniently pops up with the use of a push button. It is suitable for IP66 and NEMA 4 applications with the used of an optional flange gasket for installation. Grip adjustments are easily done with the use of a threaded adjusting screw and jam nut. It is easily installed in a single rectangular hole. Its design is flush-mount so the fasteners are not protruding. Mounting hardware made of rust-proof stainless steel is available for outdoor installations. It is also available with or without a key or tool-restricted access.
