The rotor and stator are made of chrome-plated zinc alloy. The washer, screw and latch cam are made in zinc-plated steel. The M22x1.5 nut is also made in zinc-plated steel.
The VCMK has an AISI 304 stainless steel knob and sand-blasted matte finish. The rotor and stator are made in AISI 303 stainless steel. The latch cam is made in AISI 304L stainless steel.
