Evaporative emissions canister

Evaporative emissions canister
Delphi Power Train Delphi Evaporative Emission Canisters reduce the amount of gasoline vapors which are a result of fuel storage and fuel delivery that gets released in the climate via adsorption and purging. The adsorption process requires the hydrogen molecules present in gasoline vapor to enter the canister via tank-tube. These molecules get attracted to surfaces of the carbon bed and are stored inside the canister.

The purging process involves manifolding of vacuum using fresh air via carbon bed which pulls the gas molecules into the manifold for combustion purposes. The carbon canisters are considered to be an essential part of an effective evaporative control system while the emission canisters are specifically designed to meet your needs.

With the help of an an extensive portfolio of canister designs, Delphi can meet all packaging requirements along with a range of various products for meeting the adsorption level requirements for specific engine programs.
