Air/fuel ratio controller - S A/F IQ
Gases such as off gas, biogas, blast furnace gas, waste gas and coke oven gas are primarily used as fuel in gas turbines, boilers, incinerators and furnaces. These waste gases and gaseous by-products are extremely hard to use as fuel, owing to the exceedingly high content of BTU. Using BTU-saturated gases results in low efficiency, safety and increased rate of emissions. The S A/F IQ analyzer allows measuring the flow of air required to efficiently burn a flow of a diverse compositions of fuel gas. This enables compensating for fluctuations in supply of gas. It also facilitates optimized usage of the waste gas supply and the various by products for fuel needs.
The analyzer is equipped with Stoichiometric Air-to-Fuel ratio, which harnesses various streams of the fuel as well as air flow. It burns these gases internally and evaluates the generation of combustion. The feed forward process encompasses efficient regulation of combustion, via the regulation of the stoichiometric air/fuel ratio. This is facilitated by the S A/F IQ analyzer, thereby enhancing efficiency and minimizing NOx and CO emissions.
