The Delphi Diesel Fuel Injectors are used for all types of duty systems for both indirect and direct injecting. These injectors are engineered electronically controlled pump line system.
It offers Multi-Hole Nozzles, intended for direct injection engines. The Long Stem Nozzle is a type of it, featuring a guide, measuring 4 mm to 6 mm in diameter. The Pintle Nozzles are used for indirect Injection Engines. This produces a single spray plume designed to be compatible with the characteristic of a pre-combustion chamber swirl. It has an optional pintaux hole which yields high velocity spray at a minimal injection rate.

The Delphi Smart Injector, used in medium and heavy duty diesel engines, is an electronically controlled high pressure diesel fuel injector that is specially designed to be combined with the Delphi’s electronic Unit Pump (EUP). This is to provide a complete high pressure fuel delivery system for "cam in block" engines or engines that have separate cam blocks. The injector’s nozzle control valve is controlled electronically to aid in the reduction of fuel consumption and increased performance.
