The Heckert GEC x00 D Series is a range of 4-axis CNC horizontal machining centers from Starrag. The machining centers have flexible packages that enable the machining of broad range of materials in various fields of the metal working industry. The series can also be individually adapted to various tasks.

The Heckert GEC x00 D Series provides high speed and quick feed and acceleration values for alloy machining. It is also offered with a power package version that is ideal for heavy-duty cutting with enhanced power.

Furthermore, the machines have thermal stability to provide better high-cutting capacity. It also has an accuracy of IT 5. The series is easy to operate and environmentally friendly.

The HEC series is a line of medium-sized machining centers which ensure efficiency, quality, and reliability. Constructed with a modular design, the machine works with flexibility. This flexible operation is also achieved by employing either a fixed or traversing horizontal spindle or a pivoting horizontal or vertical milling head. The machine also comes with a wide range of spindle powers that go from 30 to 78 kW.

Dynamic adjustment axes lead to reduced down times, while an effective workpiece and tool handling system ensures efficient operations. A gantry construction of the table group results in functional reliability, and an NC rotary table enables multi-side and complete machining. A thermo-symmetry and compact construction guarantees the rigidity of the main assemblies. The machine also features digital AC feed drives.
