The unit is suitable for use in applications under a restricted space, due to its reduced table size and compact footprint. It is equipped with a steel frame that is heat treated, fabricated, and precision machined. The router can accommodate a maximum of 10 tools. It is equipped with an HSK 63F tool shank.
The series comes in different models that have 3 or 4 axes. It can be supplied with 1 or 2 vacuum zones. The models features a table size of 97x49" to 3050x2050mm, and travel in x-axis within 97", 121", 145", and 3050mm.

The makers have realized that when the end users have a CNC installed in their shops, they might soon depend on the machine for the entire production and livelihood of the company. When the Tech Series was being designed, C.R. Onsrud made a call about not cutting corners or compromising which would mean that you have a CNC Router that you are not entirely confident about. No shortcuts were taken in order to see the machine being sold at a cheaper price to begin with but offer you a lot of bills at a later stage. C.R. Onsrud did not want the end users to worry about the machine going down a time or two in a year and waiting for parts to come through instead of having them produced and a lot more.

The moving gantry CNC router is suited for applications panel and sheet processing. Its table is going to remain fixed, while the bridge will moves over the surface. This will save a lot of floor space and allow for really useful options to be included such as tool changers and multi-spindle drilling heads. The design is not so well suited to very heavy cutting and high material removal rates as the moving steel frames will have difficulties in absorbing vibrations that are created. But the pro series machine can easily break down full sheets of 1-1/2" thick plywood, laminates, veneers, or 1/4" thick aluminum jig plate, at fast feed rates, under continuous duty conditions. It can handle heavier jobs on a limited basis.

The Wide Pro Series offers some of the largest table sizes there are as the makers believe that this will lead to flexibility and small tables always lead to limitations. Tables can come in sizes that go up to 12 feet in width and above 40 feet in length as standard sizes. It is possible to even custom make these tables to double the standard length. The series of ethat the machining envelope available will not necessarily be the limitation in the user's CNC Machining operation. The series has a one-piece, thick-wall steel base that has been reinforced with internal steel. This allows the table to handle large blocks of extreme weight. These can be non-ferrous metal, oversized tooling or fixtures for composites, and other sheet metal parts.

This machine brings superior flexibility in routing single sheet, stacked sheet, small part, large part, and rollers engaged or disengaged. This machine combines the capability of multiple CNC machines into one. Its compact design makes it a space saver thus allowing installation in small areas. Equipped with 2 rollers on either side of the cutting spindle(s) it automatically holds down the warped sheet stock or stacked sheet by extending & retracting rollers as they roll off. It is available in cast-iron fixed bridge moving table design (similar to our S-Series) and twin table moving gantry design (similar to our Pro Series) ensures efficient material handling, and also a continuous triple table moving gantry design. It has a standard choice of flow through or dedicated spoil board to suit your requirement.
