The automatic sharpener Combi Grinder has its natural place in all businesses that offer sharpening of harvester chains, for example. A unique advantage is that it can be equipped with an accessory for sharpening bandsaw blades.
Well-tried technology
This newly developed sharpening method has been designed in cooperation with the Swedish company Anab, which during the last 20 years has developed customized sharpening solutions for the European wood industry.
Vibration-free sharpening
To get a perfect sharpening process, there is a belt transmission between the motor and the grinding disc, which takes away any vibration. The machine is easy to use with a default proportion between tooth depth and depth-gauge setting. PLC with a counting device that can be updated for new functions, is included as standard.
Expandable system
Besides the accessory for blade sharpening, the Logosol Combi Grinder can be supplemented with a stand and automatic resetting between right and left side grinding. More accessories are on the way, e.g. an iron filings duct for connection of an industrial vacuum cleaner.

A feeder arm feeds the blade forwards, and a clamp, which is fitted to the blade, turns the machine off when the blade has been sharpened in one turn. It can be adjusted for tooth rake angle, gullet depth and take off.
Maintaining the good condition of the bandsaw blades is necessary. They will be used for a long time if the user changes blade after having cut 10-20 logs, and recondition the blade that has been used.
The user can execute cleaning and rust protecting the blades with the use of oil. In addition, the cutting teeth of the unit should always be sharp.
