Heraeus' Tungsten halogen lamps are operated in combination of a deuterium lamp to develop the spectral emission for analytical instruments in the visible range.
The output power of the products range from 5 W to 200 W and their operating life is from 50 to 2,000 hours, in accordance to their working conditions.
The lamps are made for use in analytical instruments and not for general illumination.
Transmission is enabled by the help of quartz and it does not matter even if it's below 380 nm.
