The automatic mechanical tongs in this series come with a grip of 120 degrees. This tong type has been designed for lifting and handling protective caps and heat convector plates, as well as for other major tasks. The tong comes with a strong construction that satisfies the working principles of numerous applications. Users must place the tong over the cap or over the convector plate, in a well-arranged way, before proceeding with handling operations. The automatic device comprises a frame where a high-strength steel pin can be found.
This pin is worked properly, fitting itself in a ratchet tooth properly, which allows the opening and closure of the tong.
