Precismeca - Rulmeca MELCO supreme roll is basically a heavy-duty corrosion and abrasion resistant roller. It is used in many applications like mining, coal process plants, coal fired power stations, import / export terminals, belt scales, aluminium smelters, steel plants, fertilizer plants etc.
The unit is enclosed in steel tube and additionally with an ultra thick 12 mm thick HDPE sleeve. The steel tube to ensure adequate mechanical strength for heavy duty loads. The HDPE sleeve offers resistance against abrasion, corrosion and contains carbon black for UV resistance. The combination of steel and HDPE aids in reduced weight, low run-out, minimized vibration and noise emission.
The product comes in two ranges: (127/133 mm diameter, 25 mm shaft, 6205 & 6305 bearings) and (152/159 mm diameter, 30 mm shaft, 6306 bearing). Other added features include fabrication with proven multi-part Labyrinth seal, decreased load induced shaft deflection by reduced 'C' dimension, bearing housing to ensure locking of HDPE tube, ultra-low running resistance and break away mass, reduced power consumption at start ups, castellated HDPE tube etc.
