There are no less than five models that come with overlapping range cover tubes, with sizes between 3 and 152.4 mm. The double-clamping design makes work piece fit-up simpler and also eliminates tack welding in many cases. The R-Head series of weld heads are simple to operate devices used in pipe welding. There are three standard models which cover pipe sizes of 12.7 mm to 168 mm OD (0.5" to 6.625"). A mechanical arc length control device is used to compensate for out-of-round pipes.
The basic weld heads are able to be used in applications relating to fusion welding. Filler wire feed modules are standard in every model.
