The RB-RSSA-8 model of Guyson Corporation’s 7-axis robotic grit-blast machine is specifically configured and designed to perform with intense precision in roughening surfaces of components in a thermal spray coating cell production. It has a 54”x 46” blast process chamber of 42” height. Has a single pressure nozzle which is fed by a 3.5 cubic foot capacity ASME certified pressure vessel. A Fanuc M-10iA robot provides a blast nozzle motion that coordinates with a component rotation on a servomotor-manipulated auxiliary axis which is controlled by Fanuc R-30iA robot controller. A laminated fabric suit separates the robot from the harsh environment.
