The Pick & Place unit serves to automatically unload the finished joined parts from a Hundegger joinery or cutting machine and to automatically packaging them (Nesting) with optimisation. The joined parts are gripped by a pneumatically actuated gripper at the ejection position of a Hundegger joinery or cutting machine and stacked fully automatically in a store in sorted timber packages. Stacking is carried out according to layers or packages on one of the 12 placement wagons in such a way that the
cross-sections are equal. They are at permanently defined points within the gantry and are managed by a program in the computer of the joinery or cutting machine.
