The pressure regulator converts variable inlet pressure into a lower, constant outlet pressure. It can be used to protect equipment from high or inconsistent incoming medium pressure. This reduced and constant outlet pressure also enables a constant flow rate to be achieved independently of the incoming pressure. The orifice used to maintain this constant flow rate should be placed immediately after the pressure reducer. The pressure can easily be adjusted within the regulators specification range and is ideal for applications that require a constant flow rate or a specific timed volume delivery. To ensure operation and long reliability of the pressure regulator it is recommended that a dirt strainer is fitted to the inlet. Check valves or solenoid valves can be placed downstream of the regulator. The functionality according to DIN EN 1567 is confirmed by an accredited laboratory.

The EL-PRESS series of digital electronic pressure transducers and controllers are able to perform pressure measurement and control in gases and liquids. This is due to the diaphragm type piezo-resistive pressure sensor which is incorporated into the instruments.

The lowest ranges in absolute, gauge or differential are 2 to 100 mbar. The highest ranges for absolute or gauge are 8 to 400 bar or 0.3 to 15 bar for differential.

IN-PRESS series are digital electronic transducers and controllers. They are intended for media such as gases and liquids and are used in applications found in food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The series boasts a rugged housing offering IP65 protection.

Clippards Regulators are offered in two versions, relieving and non-relieving. The relieving regulator will maintain a constant pressure output even if there is a change in the downstream condition. The non-relieving regulator is different in that it does not automatically compensate for these changes. Unlike the relieving regulator, there is no vent to atmosphere, and therefore the output pressure can rise in light of a downstream event.

Both types are offered in either a brass or stainless steel alloy and have a maximum inlet pressure of 300psig.

This does not compensate for any changes in downstream flows or pressure levels. It does not have a vent to the atmosphere and the output pressure can go up if a downstream event occurs. This is made with a brass and stainless steel body and can manage 300 psig of inlet pressure at the greatest setting.
