Flowrox pinch valves represent an excellent solution when shut-off and control applications deal with abrasive or corrosive slurries and powder or coarse substances. The modular structure of Larox valve enables an unlimited number of design variations. Larox valve features a simple operating concept: when open, the valve is at full bore with no flow restrictions and acts as integral part of the pipeline, while during closing, two pinch bars squeeze the sleeve shut on the centerline providing a 100% tight shut-off.
The three main components of this modular design are: the sleeve (the only part that comes into direct contact with the medium), the body and the actuator (manual, pneumatic or electric), while materials and construction of all parts can be tailored for the specific process.

The Flowrox manual valves is designed with an enclosed body. The valves are operated with handwheel actuator. The enclosed body ensures reliable and safe operation. It also provides protection against corrosion and dirt, premature sleeve damage from environment. The enclosed body valves can be made from cast iron, fabricated carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium or plastic. The valve measures from 25 mm diameter. Valves with larger diameter and large operating pressure are equipped with a reduction gear which eases manual operation.

The Pinch Valves with Flange Connection engineered by AKO features air operated pinch valves of the VA series are accessible in the nominal measurements of DN 100 to DN 150. The nominal measurements is DN 200 and DN 250 are only available upon request. This guarantees that the device has a wide and practically intents and purpose for unlimited field of application. It has 12 distinctive elastomer grades for the sleeve like common natural rubber, food quality rubber, etc. The body and both spines of the valves are made up of stainless steel AISI 1.4404. The body and flanges are electro-cleaned as per standard.
The VA series air operated pinch valve is shut by a differential weight of 2 to 3 bar being bolstered through the medium/working weight and it depends on the elastomer grade. When the weight supply is interfered with and the pinch valve body bled, the pinch valve sleeve opens again totally due to its tremendous bounce back strength.
