The needle valves by HYDAC control the flow rate using spindles controlled by throttle. These are manually controlled flow regulating valves. The differential pressure and the viscosity dictate the flow rates. The knobs have scaled rings that permit control and reduction of the set values in graduated form. The system can be adjusted optimally considering the various installation sizes.

These balanced type "on/off" segmented high-pressure needle valves need a model VC1195N 4-way valve controller. When it comes to applying a minimum of 56 psi to the air inlet it will reverse the needle that permits material to flow. When the valves air signal when switched on the controller will restore the needle to its original seated position closing the valve.

It has a shot size stroke adjustment, that can be fine tune easily with front closing needle for precise deposits. It is outfitted to the stainless steel body with a 1/4" NPT female port. The model DSP501N can be used with the HPN200 3-way controller while the 4-way VC1195N valve controller better for faster actuation.
