IMO OptiLine magnetic coupled pumps, also called magnetic drive or mag drive pumps, bring considerable savings in maintenance and spare parts.

What's more, OptiLine pumps already meet requirements for low viscosity (down to 1,4 cSt) according to ISO 8217:2005 and low sulphur (0,1%) as stated in EU/SECA 2005-33-EC. All while maintaining the same high efficiency.

Magnetic coupled pumps are well proven with installations onboard vessels worldwide since 2003. Even when pumping HFO or low sulphur MGO, OptiLine pumps just keep performing.

Superior corrosion resistance
The wetted parts are manufactured from superior corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel, PPS, and PEEK. Therefore, the pump can be used to transfer various types of chemical solutions.

Each part that is precision processed using Iwaki's original technology excels in thermal resistance, therefore does not cause pump troubles due to thermal expansion of the parts. Even when operated for long continuous hours, the pump should exhibit superior durability.

High pressure/high vacuum
Small size but high pressure up to 0.35MPa is available. It can be used for negative pressure of suction side because it makes suction pressure up to 8.00kPa.

Non-metal construction
Wet ends are corrosion resistant materials such as PPS, PEEK, ceramic, carbon. It can handle various chemicals such as acid and alkaline solutions because no metal is used.

Leakage free, turbine pump
As is common with corrosion resistant pumps, this series uses the magnetic drive method, eliminating all problems caused by liquid leakage. Its pump characteristics include a small flow rate and high head.

Built-in self-priming valve
The inlet side of the pump contains a self-priming valve. Self-priming is actuated quickly after initial priming.

Superior corrosion resistance
The main parts are manufactured from SCS313 or SCS14 stainless cast, allowing the pump to be used for transferring organic solvents and various other chemicals.
